About Us

The Stained Glass Project (SGP), now in its 15th year, is an all-volunteer after-school arts program that introduces Philadelphia public high school students to the technically demanding artistic discipline of making stained glass. Windows created by students have been donated worldwide. The latest are for a school in Puerto Rico. The windows have been exhibited in museums, the Phila visitor Centers and Drexel University.

Services Offered

We teach, counsel, travel to such cultural places as museums, theaters, movies and plays and dine in good restaurants with our students. We pay for transportation, food, admission fees etc. We say, it's not just about the glass, but in its way, it is.
